The Bottom Line volunteer coordinator
arranges for 2 Bottom Line Resource Team members to meet at a
business owners place of business - anywhere between Egmont and
Port Mellon.
Who are the Resource Team volunteers?
The Resource Team volunteers are
business owners and professionals from the community with backgrounds
in marketing, advertising, business planning, finance, business
administration, etc. They share a passion for sharing business
expertise in order to improve the community's business climate.
Is the meeting confidential?
The 2 Resource Team that visit businesses
are carefully matched to the businesses so there is no conflict
of interest.
All Resource Team members undertake
an oath of confidentiality.
How long is the meeting between
the Resource Team and the business owner?
The confidential interview with the
2 Resource Team members takes less than one hour. A standard questionnaire
is completed and information specific to the business owner's
issue is collected.
What happens next?
After meeting with a business owner
the 2 Resource Team meets with a larger group of about 10 Resource
Team members. The group brainstorms the issue and generates solutions.
The recommendations are summarized in a written report.
When do I get the report?
The 2 Resource Team members return
to visit the business owner within 14 days to review and deliver
the written report of recommendations.

The Bottom Line provides input and
